January Favourites | 2017

And here we are, at the end of January (thank God) and a new favourites post.

#FOTD 004

I do apologize for these close-ups of my pale face (paler than it actually is). The main character of this make-up look, as you can probably tell, is the lipstick, which is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania. Since I got it I probably wore it twice, because it's quite hard to apply: it goes really stripy on the lips and once it has dried out it accentuates the lines on your lips. But I decided to give it a go (again) because it's a gorgeous colour.

4 Recent Beauty Purchases

This is my first actual 2017 blog post. Woo-ooh, how exciting! You all probably know that it's sales time, and people are now going crazy in the shops, desperately looking for bargains.

I joined the mass a couple of days ago and went to Mac and Sephora (and other shops, of course) where I bought some beauty bits. From Sephora, I got a new Beauty Blender since my old one is ready to go into the bin. The bright pink colour is washed out and it has mascara patches on the bottom (I have no idea of how it happened).

From Mac I, of course, bought new lipsticks. The nude one is Honeylove, which is a light beige toned w/ rose (really similar to Yash). Then, Chili, a brownish orange-red (a friend of mine said that it's a granny shade...) and Chicory lip pencil, a soft muted peachy-brown, which I'll pair with Chili.
