A Little Bit of Autumn.

Wednesday 29 October 2014

Ikea candles: vanilla, caramel, chocolate.

Hello lovely people! Oh God, my hands are completely frozen that I can barely write, ugh! So, the weather has changend from one day to another and now we can say that it's finally autumn and this means I can wear jumpers & scarfs, woo-ooh.
This morning I was in a good mood (maybe because it's sunny and cold - great combo) so I took a few photos of this gorgeous autumnal food.

Desk Organisation (Halloween Edition!)

Monday 27 October 2014

Hello! So, let me introduce my clean and tidy desk decorated specially for Halloween! As I said in my previous post I have never been so excited for Halloween as I am this year, so I thought it'd be nice to decorate my desk with some orange stuff. Hope you like it!

Sunday Catch-Up #2.

Sunday 26 October 2014

Good evening, lovely people! Here's another Sunday Catch-Up.
*One of the most important people in my life, will be back in Italy (she lives in London - lucky her!), for Christmas and I am so excited. The last time I saw her was in February and Skype does its job, yes but... sometimes you just need a hug;
*I'll turn 20 in two weeks (10th November!) and I still don't know what to do... any suggestions?;
*I have never been so into Halloween as I am this year! I've always been a Christmas person (less than two months, yay), but Halloween... you got me this year;
*I LOVE Michelle Williams' hair here and I'm probably going to cut mine like this (which means to cut 2/3 centimeters);
*I'm pretty upset right now because Photoshop decided to stop working so I don't know how to edit my photos, do collages... GREAT;
*"Do not let anyone else's expectation direct the course of your life. I have discovered happiness in being true to who I am" - I should keep that in mind.

Pink, yellow, orange & blue.

Thursday 23 October 2014

Good evening. So, I was in my little bedroom when at some point I looked out of the window and saw this amazing sky. I couldn't stay inside without taking any picture of this beauty.
I love sunsets more than sunrises, they have something magical & take my breath away... AH!

Sunday Catch-Up #1.

Sunday 19 October 2014

Good Sunday afternoon lovely people!
I thought it'd be nice to do a weekly catch-up, just to let you know what I've been up to during the week.
So, let's start!
*On Monday, my mom and dad celebrated 35 years of marriage! Urray! Wow, it's a lot of time. I can't even stand a person for more than 5 seconds;
*I went to IKEA with my brother and his girlfriend three days ago and oh, I love IKEA so much. I bought a few things (erm, CANDLES) which I'm probably going to show you in a blog post;
*I was wandering around youtube yesterday when I bumped into Mackenzie Johnson's channel and I think she is AMAZING. Just her, her voice and her guitar. Love her;
*This is an idea that's been in my caotic mind for a while... I'm seriously thinking about cutting my hair short, AGAIN. Now it's shoulder-length and I cut it last month but ugh, it's so boring! I've literally memorized one of the Ginnifer Goodwin's (aka The Most Gorgeous Woman in the Entire World) gallery, lol;
*I've just realized that the decision that I've made with starting my own blog has been the best one so far. I finally have my own little space on the internet, which no one cares about except me, but that's okay am I right or am I right?

PS: I'll apologize until forever for my bad english and confusing verb tenses. Oh well, the cons of not being English!

London.

Friday 17 October 2014
Oh, London, my London. You can't even imagine how much I do love this city.

July, 2011

I fell in love with London when I was like 10 and the reason why may sound a bit silly: ten years ago, my brother gave me as a gift the first Harry Potter book, 4 years after the first movie came out, so I'm obsessed with it since I was 6. I read it, I loved it and I started to make inquiries about JK Rowling, the movie actors (here is when the obsession for Emma Watson began - thanks, brother) & blabla and here turned out that they came from England, most of them from London and yes, this is the beginning of everything. This love was born slowly and got intensified more and more.
Finally, I had the chance to visit the city in the summer of 2011 (it was a study holiday). Needless to say how excited I was in the exact moment that I stepped out of the airplane and I realized where I was!
I spent two weeks there and I attended Greenwich College for english lessons, I visited Brighton (which I LOVED, it's so cute), Cambridge, I took the tube for the first time, I drank Starbucks double espresso and let me say that it was crap, sorry. And I visited all that was visitable.
It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I miss London so much. I don't know what I'd give to come back there. Actually, I don't know what I'd give to spend the rest of life there: to live in London is definitely my life goal.

An Introduction.

Friday 10 October 2014

Hi!

I'm Simona, a 19 year old girl from Italy (so, I apologize in advance for possible and probable erros).
The idea of creating a blog flashed in my mind for a while, until in a gray autumn afternoon Dare to Dive was born.
Initially, I chose this name as my nickname on Twitter more than a year ago, at the beginning of something that scared me a bit and I needed encouragement (it may sound silly, but it really helped).
When I found myself having to give a name to my new little space of the internet, I didn't think of anything better than this.
In this blog you'll read posts about lifestyle, photography, beauty (I'm on a quest to find the perfect hair and skin), thoughts & bla bla. Bye!
