Sunday Catch-Up #5.

Sunday 30 November 2014

*November is gone, this means that Christmas is coming and 2014 is coming to the end (FINALLY);
*At the moment I'm a bit meh about photography. I'm not really satisfied of my works (maybe because I can't stop comparing to others who have much more experience than me), and oh I can't wait to finally have my DSLR camera;
*Days are getting greyer and greyer and let me say that is a bit depressing. I think there's something wrong with me, because I like rain and grey sky in summer and I like sun in winter. Wat;
*I've purchased some beauty products recently... which for me is like wow, what. I like make-up, but I don't like spending too much money on it. I mean, people who spend 40€ on a lipstick are crazy. How can you spend so much money ON A LIPSTICK?!
*I'm probably going to tattoo on my forehead 'Life is about creating yourself
(clickbecause I seriously need to remind those 5 words everyday;
*I came to a conclusion: if my first language was English, things would be much easier for me. You can't even imagine (or maybe yes) how hard it is to write/speak in another language, apart from yours.
I think my English is acceptable; as an insecure person, I would NEVER EVER started a blog in another language, if I didn't think I was good at it.
So, you, yes, you American, British, Australian or whoever you are reading this... you are lucky. Very very lucky.

Winter Is Coming...

Thursday 27 November 2014
...as you may have noticed.
Leaves are on the ground, there are almost naked trees against the sky and the air's turning cold (even though not that cold as it should be in winter) - and this makes me incredibly happy! I love winter so much and I can't stand summer. I love rain, snow, hot chocolates, fireplace on cold cold evenings, CHRISTMAS, jumpers, scarfs... got it, right?

What's your favourite thing about winter?

1 Month 'Til Christmas!

Tuesday 25 November 2014
WHO'S EXCITED?! (Me me me).
Oh, I can't believe it's only one month 'til Christmas. Everything is so Christmassy: there are Christmas trees everywhere and so many lights and that Christmas smell... aah, can you feel it!? Can you feel the Christmas?
For so many years I didn't really feel Christmas, because when I was in school I was so busy to study and then one day puff, it was Christmas. Last years -school finished- it was a bit meh as a year and I didn't enjoy it, but this year... this year Christmas is mine. YES.
Today I bought a little Christmas tree and I put it on my desk to help me getting into the Christmas spirit.

Are you excited for Christmas?
and
Do you celebrate Christmas?

My Hair Saviours.

Monday 24 November 2014

Oh God, I'd be lost if these four things weren't in my life. Since I'm using them, my hair's completely changed.

Since I can remember Pantene has been the one and only for me, until one day I've decided to change. I've tried so many shampoos and masks since then but after 2/3 washes I always wanted to change (I don't even remember when was the last time that I finished a shampoo bottle or a mask) because they didn't really work for my hair. Last month, my mom came home with the L'Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Masque Balm (thanks, Google) and obviously I had to try it. I fell in love with it.
It contains 6 oily flower extracts and it nourishes dry hair and believe when I say that it really does what it says. The mask has almost the same colour as the packaging and it has a bit of glitters. It smells so good and leaves your hair soft and shiny. I'm really impressed and if you have dry hair I highly recommend it!

The L'Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Shampoo is a really good one. It has the same smell as the mask and helps to settle down your hair so you don't look like Bellatrix Lestrange.

Tangle Teezer. I'm sure that many of you have heard about this little hair brush that looks like a coloured soap bar. She's like my best friend! I bought it on ASOS and it was around 15€ - which I think is a lot for a hair brush BUT it was worth it. I'm not in pain anymore when I brush my hair and it doesn't rip off that much as the many brushes that I had used to do! Oh, and since it's small you can easily carry it in your bag.

Testanera Palette: Styling Spray Thermo Protection (I think the rest of the world calls Testanera 'Schwarzkopf'). Well, I love this spray so much. I used to use the Pantene one but I think it was like 90% of water and the remaining 10% apple juice - I'm not kidding!
However, this one promises protection until 220°C and you can use it before blow drying your hair or before you use your hair straightener. I usually spray it before and after, because -as it says- it helps to style your hair and since I have a lot of hair and thick it works pretty well and helps me a lot.

What's your favourite hair product?

Pastels: Green, Yellow, Pink, Bad & Blood.

Thursday 20 November 2014

I could spend hours doing things like this! :) Yes, I like graphics and yes, I like to play with different fonts and colours (especially pastel ones) - I also did the graphics in my Motivational Quotes post.

Motivational Quotes.

Wednesday 19 November 2014
Sometimes you just feel a bit meh and all that you need is something that motivates you and, for me, quotes work pretty well.

Always keep your eyes open. Keep watching. Because whatever you can see, can inspire you. // Grace Coddington
You gotta keep on keepin' on, even with the feeling that you're gonna keep losing. You gotta come back strong. // "Keep On Keeping On" Travie McCoy ft. Brendon Urie
Don't wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect.
♦ The struggle you're in today is developing the strenght you need for tomorrow.
♦ When you feel like quitting think about why you started.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, only this time more wisely.
♦ Stop wishing. Start doing.
♦ What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Sunday Catch-Up #4.

Sunday 16 November 2014

*On Monday I turned 20 (as I already said before) and this scares me a little bit. I mean, I'm officially out of adolescence;
*Yesterday evening I celebrated my b-day with my friends; I had fun and they gave me some cute presents;
*I had a meh week, I didn't feel really good (emotionally). My creativity is quite bad at the moment, I hope it'll get better...;
*Around January, I think I'm going to buy my first DSLR camera (woo-ooh!) and the choice is between the Nikon d3300 or d5300. Aarh, indecision;
*5 weeks to Christmas! I'm so excited.

She Is Showing Us Incredible Things.

Saturday 15 November 2014
She did it again
I've been listening to this album for the past five days and I don't have enough words to express how much I do love it and how much I love Taylor.
Taylor Swift's been in my life for the last five years and this means I was kind of a fetus when I first started listening to her songs. She's an incredible songwriter, singer, human being.
1989 is by far different from her recent albums, the sound is new -completely pop- and some people like it and some people don't - I'm one of those who freakin' adore it.
My favs are Out of the Woods, I Know Places, Style, Blank Space & Bad Blood, but the only one that gives me goosebumps is definitely the first one that I mentioned!
Oh, and last but not least: polaroids! I think I was the only one who thought that they were only in the deluxe edition... mmm. So, I was pretty excited (and surprised) when I found them!

20

Monday 10 November 2014

As you may have understood, today is my birthday! Wow, 20 is a lot. Oh God, I'm gettin' old.

Look at my little happy face and those two teeth! So, tonight I'm going to celebrate with my family and on Saturday I'll celebrate with my friends and this really makes me very very happy. :)

Happy birthday to me!

When's your birthday and what is your best memory of when you were little?

Sunday Catch-Up #3.

Sunday 9 November 2014

*Last Sunday I went to some sort of Santa Claus Village and needless to say how I happy I was to be there, I mean: CHRISTMAS. Who doesn't love it? I'm so excited!;
*October has been so far the best month in a long time. For months and months my mood wasn't the best, most of the time I was irritable and nervous and thinking about it October has definetly been the most 'okay' month;
*I have decided to print and put on my bedroom walls some motivational quotes because I'm sure they will help me;
*On Friday, my brother turned 34! ♥;
*Tomorrow is my birthday! Woo-oop, hello 20!;
*I spent a good day, today. My parents, my brother, his girlfriend and I went out for lunch and then this evening we went to the cinema to watch 'Dracula -Untold-' and OH MY GOD. Why none has ever told me about Luke Evans' existence?! I mean, look at thim. He's like a mix between Jude Law and Orlando Bloom and this makes him a god.

What have you been up to, lovely people? xx

Boredom & Rain.

Thursday 6 November 2014

Rain, rain, rain, rain. It keeps raining since yesterday and boredom has reached high levels. Plus, Photoshop has kind of crashed again due to a Windows program, GREAT.

What have you been up to, lovely people?

BEAUTY
The Rimmel Salon Pro Urban Purple Nail Polish is by far the best nail polish I have ever had. It's easy to apply, it lasts pretty long and the colour is just gorgeous.

Deborah Definitive Volume Mascara is THE mascara. The pipe cleaner is made of elastomer and it's easy to apply. It's probably the first mascara that doesn't stick my lashes and really gives volume.

I've heard so many good opinions about the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation and that's why I bought it! First thing first, I'm not a huge fan of foundation, I do prefer to have no make up on my skin, especially because I'm a glass wearer (yep, I'm pretty blind) and I have oily skin and let me say it's pretty annoying that feeling of foundation and oil on your nose, when you have glasses on. So, I like this foundation, a lot - it lasts for hours, it doesn't irritate my skin (also have sensitive skin) and it's good even if you have oily skin. That's great, isn't it?
I have this one in 'True Ivory'.

Needless to say how much I love my Tangle Teezer. It's my hair saviour, seriously! It detangles your hair beautifully and I have noticed that it rips off less much hair than other hair brushes do.

Last but not least, the Miss Broadway Eyeliner. I think it's the best eyeliner I've ever had. It lasts for so long, it's waterproof and most important it's easy and quick to apply.

CLOTHES
I've been wearin' this H&M Jersey Top for all this passed month. It's just a basic top but I really like it. I often wear it with this Flannel Shirt which I LOVE. Everybody needs of a flannel shirt in their wardrobe.

MUSIC
X by the talented Ed Sheeran has been the soundtrack of my October. I love him and if you don't, you should.

Oh, since I like to listen what people of the world have to say, I will share with you some of the YouTubers that I have enjoyed to listen/watch this month:

sunbeamsjess and extrasumbeamsjess (vlog channel - she's so gorgeous, I can't even)
Lily Melrose and Lily (vlog channel)
