I'm not going to write a novel about what happened this year that'll always remember and blah blah blah. 2k16 was... average. A lot of stuff happened, bad and good, and let's just hope that 2k17 will be good to us.

Christmas Scented Candles // ❄

I love candles, of course, but especially Yankee candles. I've collected quite a few in the last two years, but I've never done a post where I show you the Christmassy ones that I own!

The ones in the little jars came in a set and I like to light them up all together.

Christmas Eve // it has a warm hearth, sugared plums and candied fruits. Fragrance notes:

Top - orange, almon, lime, lemon

Mid - red berry, cinnamon, nutmeg

Base - violet, amber, creamy praline, vanilla

Sugared Apple // juicy apples sprinkled with sugar and vanilla. Fragrance notes:

Top - vanilla bean, cream

Mid - apple, greens, lily of the valley

Base - sugar, sweet notes

Christmas Garland (or Christmas Wreath) // fresh-cut boughs and branches of pine, balsam and hollyberry. Fragrance notes:

Top - fresh greens, soft citrus

Mid - pine balsam, cedar

Base - moss, sweet hollyberry

The excitement for Christmas is getting real. Since Christmas is all about the glitters and the sparkle, I thought that this NYX palette, with its gold and green, was perfect for this look.

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics: The Review

When Urban Decay announced that they were releasing a completely matte/neutral palette -all shades are new and exclusive to it-, I knew I had to get it. I think their eyeshadows are the best out there - the blendability and staying power are impressive. I already own the Naked Basics and the Naked 1, so I knew I was going to love this one as much as I love the two that I already have.

My favourite Christmas movie has to be Home Alone. But I also love Trading Places and the Grinch, of course.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Ooh, Christmas Eve.

I don't think I have a favourite Christmas memory, but I remember the excitement on Christmas Eve when it was finally time to open all the presents.

It was probably one of those horrible sticky lip glosses!

2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?

Volume is the key. The Maybelline Lash Sensational is my by far my favourite.

3. What kind of coverage do you prefer from a foundation?

Light to medium coverage.

3 Drugstore Products I'll Always Repurchase

It's hard to find good drugstore make-up products, we all know that, but it's not impossible. Here are three drugstore make-up products I know for sure I'll always repurchase.

The Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer is irreplaceable. I've tried many concealers in the past, but this is the one: it covers up my dark circles and illuminates the eye area like a dream. This up here in the photo is my second tube and for only 8€ you get such a good product. 

I tried for the first time the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara around this time last year. It is often compared with the Benefit Roller Lash mascara (which I've tried and hated it), but it has a bigger wand and it costs 10€, rather than 26€. And works better.

My lashes are naturally long and curved, but I'd like them to be fuller: this, my friends, combines all the three together. 

Last but not least, the Maybelline Brow Satin eyebrow pencil. Of course, I'd never replace my beloved ABH Dipbrow Pomade, but there are days where I can't be bothered to do my eyebrows. One side has the retractable pencil and the other side has the filling powder.

A bit late, but I wanted to post a little something because today is my birthday! Woo-ooh! I'm 22 today and yes, I've been listening to 22 (you know who this song is) allll day. Well, happy birthday to me!

Red Roses

I believe in love at first sight. It happened when I saw this pair of jeans on the Pull&Bear website, a couple of weeks ago. So, of course, I went straight into the shop a few days later /worried that I wouldn't like them, as it often happens/ and I found them, I tried them on and I bought them. 
They're mom jeans, with roses patches here and there. I love, love mom jeans, even if they make your hips look wider, but who cares?

This is one of the many reasons why I love autumn: pumpkin picking. I usually do it with my brother, but this time was different because our parents went with us! There were so many pumpkins in every shape and colour possible. I also met a little friend.

And here we are again, another month has gone, another favourites post is here:

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and MorpheBrushes 12 Colour Natural Beauty Palette are by no surprise in this post ('Discovering: CultBEUTY'). The ABH Dipbrow Pomade is incredible, it's never been easier to do my brows (and quicker). It lasts a very long time without running down your face and trust me when I say it's sweat proof. 

The MorpheBrushes palette is simply the perfect palette. You have every single neutral colour you possibily need and the pigmentation is really good. 

A lipstick I often found myself reaching for this month is MAC Velvet Teddy, which I'm sure every beauty-obsessed knows.

I showed you this Catrice High Glow Mineral Highlight Powder in this post. It's simply gorgeous and looks amazing on the skin.

A pleasant surprise is the Catrice Galm&Doll Mascara. As you can see in the picture up here, it has a curved wand which looks exactly like the Benefit Roller Lash one. The only difference is that I hated the Roller Lash, whilst I love this Catrice one. It gives volume and curves my lashes like heaven.
