June Favourites | 2015

June. JUNE. Where's the time gone? I know that I say the same thing at the beginning of each monthly favourites, but I really can't believe we're in June (almost July) already. New Year's Eve seems like yesterday. 
Anyway! Here are my favourites of this month.

B E A U T Y

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil // What can I say? This is the oil cleanser of all. I saw it in Amelia Liana's several videos and if you watch her, you'd know she raves about it. So, I decided to give it a go! 
I usually put some product in my hands and, with a circular motion, I start to clean my face (I don't use it for my eyes, I prefer using a make-up remover first). After a while, I dilute the product with some water and I take off the last traces of make-up.  

I rinse everything off, et voilà! Le jeux son fait. It removes every trace of make up from your face and leaves the skin soft and smooth. I wouldn't change it with any other cleanser in the world.

You know when you scroll through a website for a long time, watch all the different and gorgeous products and you sigh, because they cost money and not potatoes? But then, on a beautiful sunny day, you find, by chance, a 20% off promo. All the photos up here show you what happened that sunny day.

It's All About the Brows

My obsession with eyebrows can be said it started in December 2013, when I had the brilliant idea to dye my hair black (from ombré hair) and, consequently, not noticing how my eyebrows had suddenly become pale was impossbile. 
I do not have thick eyebrows à la Cara Delevingne, but they're quite dark and so they need to be filled in order to give life to my face/eyes area.

Clarins True Radiance Foundation

The time has come: I finally bought a foundation that actually matches my skin tone. Not like the other three ones way too dark/light.

A couple of weeks ago, I started doing some research about foundations which give you luminosity to your skin and, at the same time, that last throughout the day (al least more than 5/6 hours). I decided not to consider any high-street foundation because, when we talk about the face and the products that we use, which stay a long period time in contact with the skin, investing that little bit more I think it's good (not for your wallet but whatever).

After the Storm

I love nature way too much (you don't say...). However, clouds and the sky after a storm have a special place in heart. This is how the world looked yesterday's evening - I think it was amazing.

Sunday Snapshots // 14.06.2015

I promise you, I'm not as obsessed with hills as it may seem! It's the third blog post that I do where I show you photos of hills. 
Anyway! On Sunday, my friends and I went up in the hills to visit the santuario della Madonna di San Luca (Bologna), which rises on the Colle della Guardia. It is an important sanctuary in the history of the city and since its origins has been a place of pilgrimage. The sanctuary is reachable through a long and characteristic porticoed street* - but there's the road, don't worry! You can easily reach it with the car (as we did).

* I believe is 3,796 km long and it may be the longest portico in the whole world

Caffellatte

First of all, yes, the lipstick is sweating because the temperature in the last three day has been... pretty tragic. 30°C (86°F) is way too much, especially if you, like me, don't like summer, sweat and... you got it.

Anyway, let's talk about the two lip products that I've been wearing non-stop for the past two weeks: the Kiko Precision Lip Pencil 300 Caffellatte and the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 03. Needless to say how beautiful these two are together. I would never said that I'd like brown lips (in fact, I'm obsessed).
