I think that we can all agree about the fact that a good skincare routine can make all the difference to your skin. But is spending loads of money in skincare products always necessary?

I've been using the Clinique Take The Balm Off Cleansing Balm (28,90€ on Sephora) for five months now and I thought it was the ~cleaser of my life~, until last week.
This Clinique balm it starts off as a solid balm ~you don't say~ and it transforms into a silky oil with the warmth of your hands/face. It gently dissolves any eye/face make-up and leaves your skin smooth.
On the Clinique official website, they say it's non-drying and I have to disagree, because everytime after I use it I can feel my skin needs some moisturizer. Also, after I have taken off my eye make-up, my sight goes blurred for a few minutes, which is not comfortable.
The Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser (10,45€ for 45gr / 17,45€ for 100gr) is a whole other world. This balm is made with almond oil, rose water, beeswax and honey. From the last two ingredients you can already tell that this product is not going to dry out your skin. It's thicker than the Clinique balm and it takes more effort to distributes it onto your face.
Just a teeny tiny amount of this and all your make-up, any dirt, will cling to it and you can easily remove it with a warm damp cloth or cotton pad (I use the second option).
A bit TMI, but I used it the week before that time of the month, when my skin usually is a mess, and no pimple has been seen, which is a miracle.

So, the Lush cleansing balm it costs about 11€ (if you buy the 100gr pot - which is what I have) less than the Clinique one, and I personally would 100% re-purchased it to the Clinique balm (and keep those 11€ to me).
