How to: Eyeliner | Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner

Friday 4 September 2015
If I dedicate an entire blog post to a beauty item, is because I really love it. I'm sure you know the Benefit They're Real! Push-Up Liner because it's been reviewed quite a lot now.
A lovely girl from Sephora did my make up, awhile ago, and she used this eyeliner on my eyes - needless to say that I instantly fell in love with it. But, there were a few things that held me back from buying it:
  • The price. It's - Expensive. But, as luck would have it, they sell a smaller version of it of 0.36g for 11.90€, so you can try it out and see if you like it, before investing money on the full size;
  • I read reviews of people complaining about the application: the applicator is made out of rubber and you have to twist the bottom up, in order to release the product (you'll see in the pictures below), so, some people, may find it tricky to apply;
  • Some say it melts on eyelids when it's hot. I disagree - wait 'til the end of the post to find out why.

Now, it is tricky to apply if, once you have twisted the bottom, don't remove the product in excess. Do it, and it'll be ten times easier to apply.

Last, trust me when I say that it doesn't melt down. The other day, I was on a train, the air con was broken and you can't even (unless it happened to you) imagine what it does mean being on a train, side by side to other people because there were no seats available, with 34 lovely degrees (outside, can't even imagine how many there were in the train). I came home completely wet. Nice.
The point is, my eyeliner was still there. 8am to 4pm, 34°C, 20 minutes of train, sweat and it didn't move. That is pretty impressive.

I would 100% recommend this eyeliner. It's really easy to apply and once it's there, it doesn't move.
